Product Designer
Our company is seeking a creative and strategically-minded Product Designer with a degree from the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering at the University of the Aegean to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and development of new products, retail displays, and store layouts, focusing on functionality, aesthetics, and the commercial success of the solutions we provide.
Responsibilities:
- Spatial design for retail stores and product development.
- Design of innovative stands and display systems for retail environments.
- Participation in the ideation and design of new products (3D), from concept to prototyping and final production.
- Market trend research and customer needs analysis to develop commercially successful products and displays.
- Researching technical specifications for new products and displays and overseeing detailed design.
- Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to ensure that products meet customer and market needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Product and Systems Design Engineering from the University of the Aegean or a similar academic qualification.
- Experience in product design, especially in retail environments and stand development.
- Excellent knowledge of 3D design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with various departments (e.g., production, marketing, sales).
- Strong understanding of marketing and market trends to design products that offer true customer value.
- Experience in prototype creation, product testing, and technical evaluation.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate with various departments and stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on innovation and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail design or store development.
- Experience working with product teams to produce high-quality products.
